OBITUARY
James T. Carr was born in Maysville, Ga., May 22, 1850 and died Dec. 21, 1928 at the age of 78 years 7 months. He was married to Maggie E. Maney in 1875, who died several years ago. To this union 11 children were boorn, 4 being dead, the 7 living are Tom J. of Republic, R. E. of San Diego, Calif., J. C. of Manford, Okla., Clarence of North Powder, Oregon, Arch B. of Oswego, Kansas, Margie of Republic and Ruby of Miama, Ariz.
Mr. Carr became a Christian early in life and united with teh church. At the time of his death he was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Notes:
Thomas Jefferson Carr his oldest son was informant on Death Certificate, he gave his middle name as Thomas and his place of birth as Maysville, GA, both of which are incorrect.
