Burial services for Morris Kidd, will be held today, Thursday, at the Smoot Cemetery at 1 p.m. He was the husband of a former Smoot resident, Lila (Gomm) Kidd of Layton, UT.
Funeral services were held in Bluffdale on Wednesday. Lila is the sister of Theil Gomm.

Morris Bickmore Kidd, 72, died at his home surrounded by family Jan 13, 2001, following several strokes.
Born to Bickmore Brigham Kidd and Alice Amelia Turner of Bluffdale, Dec 8, 1928. Graduated from Jordan High School; served in the U.S. Navy, 1946-47. Married Fern Arlene Adams Feb 4, 1948, later divorced. Mar-ried Judy Ann Ulrich, divorced. Married Mary C. Hale, di-vorced. Married his sweetheart, Lila Gomm, April 6, 1988. Later sealed in the Jordan River LDS Temple.
Morris was a building contractor. He loved music and the outdoors. He was a faithful member of the LDS Church. Served a building and stake mission. He later served a Chicago Temple Mission with his wife.
Survived by his wife; children, Paulene (Blaine) Hartley, Morris Lynn, Roger A. (DeAnn), Marilyn Carter, Robert B. (Sandy), Michael George, Marlin Wayne (Rebecca), Jana Lisa (Phillip) Oyler, Lana Marie (John) Miller, Rodney Cordell (Cathy) Johns, Tresa Johns (Scott) Welty; 42 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Wilmer, David (deceased), Carol Nielson, Elton, Joanne Allred, Mary Adolphson, Clara Gamble (deceased).
Services will be Jan 17, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Bluffdale LDS 2nd Ward chapel, 14400 S. Redwood Rd. Friends may call Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 200 W., Riverton, Jan 16, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Smoot, WY cemetery.
