Carol Kidd Nielson
1926 ~ 2017
On November 5, 2017 Carol Kidd Nielson left this earthly life to join her beloved husband, Eldon C. Nielson Jr. Waiting by her husband's side will be Carol's great-grandson, Jaydin "Jay-d-bear" Atkins, who passed away at the young age of 5 ½, and her great-granddaughter, Kaylee Kay Elizondo, who passed away at birth. Grandma Nielson was supported in this life by her many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly. She has been a constant giver to support any challenges that arose in her family. She played the role of mother and caregiver by opening her home to a number of those in need. Grandma Nielson loved to give service to others through her hospital volunteer commitment through the years.
We want to give deep and heartfelt thanks to the caregivers of Carrington Court and Summit Hospice. These passionate individuals dedicated themselves to Carol and the family's comfort.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah; and graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East, Sandy, Utah.
