Henry McKendree Ewing was married to Nancy Ann Hank Ewing. They were the parents of Alving Enoch Ewing (1864-1945). He was the youngest son of Enoch Ewing (1799-1885) and Susannah Radabaugh Ewing (1800-1884). He grew up in Woodbridge (Hillsdale County, Michigan). Henry and two of his brothers (William Jordan Ewing and John Wilson Ewing) married three Hank sisters (Nancy Ann, Isabella Virgina, and Jane Berry). Henry (Mack) was a veteran of the U.S. Civil War.
