Mrs. Nancy Beers died at the home of her son, Samuel, in White township, 1901, aged 76 years. Mrs. Beers was known by all the older residents in Northern Cambria county. She was one of a family of 12 children all of whom are dead with the exception of two brothers and one sister as follows: Benjamin Beers, of Flinton; Thomas Beers, of Illinois; and Mrs. Margaret Garman, of Blandburg. These children also survive: Lemuel, of Coalport; Samuel, of Fallen Timber and Mrs. Ella Chapple, of San Bardina, Cal. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, March 1st, at 10 o'clock at the home of her son Samuel, by the U. B. minister of the Fallen Timber charge. Interment was made in the Beaver Valley Cemetery.
