"Charles W. Archer, 96, passed away January 3, 1981, in a Salt Lake rest home after a short illness.
Born September 5, 1885, in Bountiful, Utah, to William and Emma Titmus Archer. Married Verna Lyle Kimball (June 23, 1909, SLC, UT), later divorced.
Lived in California for the past fifty years.
Survived by son, Don K. Archer, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Haddow, Salt Lake City.
Graveside services Tuesday, 11 a.m., Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 10 to 10:30 a.m., at the Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive."
Charles was preceded in death by daughter, Norma Olsen.
