Verna is the third of ten children born to Lorenzo Heber Kimball and Dorothea Soren Christensen or Sorensen. She married Charles William Archer June 23, 1909. They were later divorced. Married John Victor Hill December 30, 1933, later divorced. Married Edward Anton Weber July 17, 1949. He died October 17, 1965 and was buried October 22 in White Plains Rural Cemetery, White Plains, New York.

She had been a member of the Literary Club, was an excellent seamstress, a lover of art and an accomplished artist.

She was survived by son, Don (Virginia) Archer, Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Also one sister, Lenore K. Farrington, Salt Lake City; one brother, Lorenzo (Deno) W. Kimball, California; a niece, whom she raised, Verna Kelly Chase, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents, seven siblings and daughter Norma Olsen.
Graveside services Saturday, 11 a.m., SLC Cemetery. Funeral directors Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
