Girl Falls Into Open Fireplace, Fatally Burned
Rosie Burden, eight year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burden, Moulton 1, died Tuesday afternoon at the Irwin and Dyar hospital in Moulton where she was taken earlier in the day for treatment of burns received when she fell into an open fireplace.
Funeral services and interment were held at Clardy cemetery in Lawrence county at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Brown directing.
The child is survived by her parents and grandparents; one brother, Arthur Burden; four sisters, Bertha, Betty, Hazel and Joyce Burden.
