Mrs. Eleanor French Cameron died at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown after a short illness. She had been a resident of St. Mary's County all of her life. For the past three years she lived in California, Md. She was survived by her husband Peter Cameron and three daughters and two sons. They are Violet Combs, Genevievre Summers, Louise Bailey, Richart Watts and Milton Watts.

Prayers ere held at Mattingly Funeral home, and a mass was held at Holy Face Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Eleanor Adams married Richard Watts on 8 October 1890 when she was 25 and he was 34. In the next ten years, she had five children. Three of them died young. At the time of the 1940 census only two of them remained - Ceceilia was born Feb 1893 and Genevievre was born Nov 1894.

By 1920, three more children had been born. Milton age 9, Violet age 6 and Richard Jr age 4. Eleanor's husband Richard died two years later in 1922.

In May 1928, she married Pete Cameron. In the 1940 census she is living with her husband Pete and Pete's son William who was 25 years old. William was the son of Peter's first wife Marie Bean
