Funeral services were held Monday, January 9, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. at the Arnold United Methodist Church for Loren L. Dillon of Arnold, with the Rev. Julian Miguel officiating.

Hymn selections were "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Though Art," sung by Mr. Darrell Peters and accompanied by Mrs. C.D. Quig as organist.

Pallbearers were Don Flint, Robert Flint, Wes Larreau, Francis Pandorf, Lynn Stockall and Roger Stockall.

Interment was in the Arnold Cemetery with Quig and Tickle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Loren Dillon, 72, of Arnold, died Thursday, Jan. 5, in a Callaway Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1905 on Garfield Table and farmed in the Arnold area until 1960, when he moved to Arnold.

Survivors include four sons, Gerald of Mandan, N.D., Russell of Billings, Montana, Darrell of Casper, Wyo., and Craig of Alliance; three daughters, Ardelle (Mrs. David) Sheets of Loveland, Colo., Janet (Mrs. Harold) Richards of Gillette, Wyo., and Alison Dillon of Arnold; three sisters, Mrs. John Chapman of Potter, Mrs. Art Flint of Stapleton and Mrs. Wayne Welch of Vernonia, Oregon; 16 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.
