David Charles 'Charley' Corbett was the son of Mary E. Blair (1845-Aft.1900) and James V. Cobbett (1840-1919). His death certificate shows he was born in Butler County while his obituary shows him born in Clarion County.

He married Jeanette "Jennie" Hillard (1870-1942) on December 30, 1897 in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

His headstone shows 1937 which seems to be incorrect, as his obituary was published in 1936. His father was James V. Corbett and he was David Charles 'Charley' Cobbett/Corbett.

James Charles Corbett, aged 67, of Eau Claire, died at the family residence in Eau Claire at 11 o'clock Thursday morning following a lingering illness.
He was born in Clarion county, December 25, 1868 and had resided in the Eau Claire district the greater part of his life.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Jennie Hilliard Corbett, a daughter Mrs. William Nail, Jr. of Verona; six sons, Jonathan J. of Wilkinsburg, Dr. Donald L., of East Brady, Thomas R. of Verona, Fred G. of Bradford; S. Byron and Walter S. Corbett at home, four grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Della Cerby and five brothers, Samuel, Stephen, Fern, Ross and Elisha Corbett.
He was a member of the Eau Claire Methodist Episcopal church.
The body was removed to the Knox Funeral Home in Bruin and later to the family home in Eau Claire today.
Funeral services will be held from the Eau Claire Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Eau Claire cemetery.
