Son of James and Mary Blair Corbett, he married Blanche P. McElroy, was widowed, lived at 1219 Buffalo St, Franklin, retired from the CPT, died at the county home of pneumonia, inanition due to cerebrovascular accident due to arteriosclerosis, diabetes and amputation of of left leg mid-thigh, per death certificate 069766-61, whose informant was Mrs. F. A. McCracken, 628 15th St, Franklin. Buried Jul 24 1961.

Samuel H. Corbett, 84, of 1219 Buffalo Street, died at 6:30 pm Thursday following an extended illness. Son of James and Mary Blair Corbett, he was born in Butler County Sept. 25, 1876.

He had worked in the oil fields and was employed at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. for more than 35 years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was an outdoorsman, especially interested on hunting.

He married Blanche P. McElroy June 21, 1897, and she died April 1958.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Claude C. (Lena) Neeley, Mrs. F. A. (Lucille) McCracken, and Mrs. Mary E. Sisney, all of Franklin; four grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ross T. Corbett, Creekside, PA. Deceased are a daughter, son, four brothers, and a sister.

Services will be at Huff Chapel at 1 pm Sunday with Rev. Harry J. Lichy Jr., pastor of Rocky Grove Avenue Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
