Dies at Rockfield Home;
Final Rites Wednesday
DELPHI—Final rites for Mrs.
Bessie Myers, 73, who died of a
heart attack Monday morning.
will be at two o'clock Wednesday
at the Christian church, Rockfield.
The body, will be returned today
from the Jackson funeral home to
the residence of a daughter, Mrs.
Paul Gregg, in Rockfield where
friends may call after one o'clock
this afternoon. Prior to final services
the body will lie in state at
the church one hour. The Reverend
Clifford Winter will officiate
and burial will be in Camden
cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was found dead in
bed at 8 a.m. by her daughter.
Mrs. Gregg, and Dr. John Wagoner,
county coroner, ruled death
had occurred about four hours
earlier.
A resident of Carroll county
most of her life, she was married
to Frank Myers, who died in 1950.
Survivors are four daughters:
Mrs. Gregg, Rockfield; Mrs. Vivian
Davidson and Mrs. Kenneth
Brubaker, Pomona, Calif.; Mrs.
John Bickel. Ft. Wayne; a brother.
Robert Lewis: a sister. Mrs.
Irvin Hall, both of Pompona: six
grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
