ROBERT WILLIAM DAUGHERTY, age 72, of Houston. Born December 14, 1926 in Hamilton, Ohio, passed away January 18; 1999 in Sugar Land, Texas. Mr. Daugherty retired from Dowell Industrial Service after 32 years and was a member of Kirkwood South Christian Church. Mr. Daugherty was preceded in death by his parents, Matt and Leora Daugherty; brother, Richard Daugherty and a granddaughter, Courtney Wallace. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lee W. Daugherty; daughters, Linda Wallace & husband, Scott and Susan Burton & husband, Aaron; grandchildren: Jason Burton, Jacob Burton, Elizabeth Wallace and Nathan Wallace; sisters, Betty Balok & husband, Larry and Alice Steiger & husband, Dan; brother, James Daugherty & wife, Illa and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, 1999 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer @ Dairy Ashford. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
