"Death of Edward C. Horstmann"
Edward C. Horstmann, born November 11, 1897, passed away yesterday at St. Francis hospital, death resulting from diabetes. Mr. Horstmann had lived here all his life. He had been employed by the Union Pacific for about two years and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, being engaged as switchman when ill health sometime ago compelled him to give up his work. He leaves one sister, Mrs. J. G. Peterman of this city, and several half brothers and half sisters to mourn his loss. He was aged 22 years, 10 months and 29 days.
The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of William Krehmke, 904 West Fifth street. Rev. Martin of Trinity M. E. church will officiate.
