Lorraine Elizabeth Bergseth was born May 30, 1924 to Lars and Elizabeth (Johnson) Bergseth. She was baptized and confirmed at Eids Lutheran Church and was a member there until the dissolution of the church in 1962; she then became a member of First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville.

Lorraine attended District #49 country school. She was a waitress for many years at the Hilltop Theatre of Seasons restaurant in Ortonville. Lorraine enjoyed crossword puzzles and also liked to do latch hook projects.

Lorraine died on August 6, 2008, at Ortonville Health Services living to reach the age of 84 years.

Lorraine is survived by 3 brothers: Homer, Edward and Harold; 3 sisters: Deloris, Hazel and Muriel; nieces: Ethel, Judy, Sherri, and Jennifer; nephews, Wade, Eric and Andrew.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and five brothers.
