Joseph Elmo Andersen, 86, of Rigby, died Thursday at The Gables Assisted Living Home in Idaho Falls.He was born January 18, 1922 at Rigby a son of Albert Andersen and Vida Esther Waters Andersen.He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1942 until 1946. He married June Niederer on March 5, 1945 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He farmed in the Clark area and worked at the Lincoln Sugar Factory.
He is survived by three daughters, five sons:one sister, four brothers, 27 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife June Andersen, four brothers and two sisters.
