Nancy Harmon married Abraham Benson April 15, 1842 in Hamburg, Edgefield District, South Carolina. They had two sons that served in the Confederate Army; Berry and Blackwood Benson. Berry Greenwood Benson was born Feb. 9, 1843. He was a distinguished Confederate soldier, scout, and sharpshooter. After the war he was an accountant in Augusta, Ga. He married and had several children. He died Jan. 1, 1923 in North Augusta, Aiken County, South Carolina.
