Sun Advocate (Price, UT) - May 4, 2006. Obituary: Madge Guymon. HUNTINGTON - Ina Madge Guymon, age 81, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away after a short illness. She was born Aug. 12, 1924 in Huntington to Joseph B. and Alice Allen Johnson. She married Starr Hall Guymon July 14, 1943 in Baltimore, Md, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Madge was very active in her church and community. She served as a ward and stake choir director for 43 years as well as in various other church callings. She served on the state library committee and helped established all the libraries in Emery County. She loved gardening and was currently serving on the Huntington city beautification committee. She served on the State Farm Bureau women's committee for 10 years. Above all else, she loved her family and most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Madge is survived by husband, Hal, of Huntington; children and their spouses, Courtney and Vee Guymon of Huntington; LaMar and Gayla Guymon of Huntington; Kay and David Phillips of Heber City; Vaughn Guymon, also of Huntington; and 64 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Enid Migliori of Salt Lake City.

Preceded in death by son, Larry; four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, 1 p.m., in the Huntington LDS Stake Center where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Huntington Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
