W. H. Buck Died In Oklahoma
---Mrs. Katie Murphy, her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kumm, left Monday for Ponca City to attend the funeral of Mrs. Murphy's brother, William Henry Buck, who died at a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Saturday, March 19.
---Mr. Buck's home was in Ponca City, where the funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00, with burial in the cemetery there.
---William Henry, son of Alanson L. and Lavina (Glazier) Buck, was born near Guysville, Athens County, Ohio, March 3, 1872. He came with his family to Missouri March 11, 1883, where they settled on a farm five miles northwest of La Plata.
---February 21, 1894, he was married to Rinnie Bragg, who survives. Three sons and one daughter also survive; they are: Ray Buck of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Roy Buck of Shelbina, Missouri, Mrs. Fern Smith of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and William Clare Buck of St. Paul, Minnesota. Still living are one sister, Mrs. Katie Murphy of Millard and one brother, B. F. Buck, of Millard, thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
---His parents and three brothers preceded him in death.
