Graveside services for Albert Blaine Snowden, 86, of Hollister, will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 11, 2008, at Cedar Valley Cemetery in Hollister with Rev. Kenny Robinette officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home of Branson.
He died Aug. 8 at his home in Hollister.
He was born Aug. 9, 1921 in Stone County, son of Adam and Addie Beard Snowden.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and and was retired from the Missouri Highway Department where he worked for 32 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Bowman Snowden, of the home; son, Larry Snowden, of Hollister; brother, James Snowden, of Texas; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
