METCALF, Jennieve Franklin, age 83 of Winchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Coffee County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Metcalf; a son, Virgil Metcalf; three brothers, James Franklin, Willard Franklin and Robert Franklin; and a sister, Alice Banks. She is survived by a daughter, Jewel Marshall of Winchester; three sons, Melvin Metcalf, David Metcalf and Daniel Metcalf, all of Winchester; four brothers, Ruebin Franklin of Tullahoma, Ray Franklin of Oklahoma, Haskell Franklin of Normandy and Melvin Franklin of Kentucky; two sisters, Alta May of Manchester and Mary Catherine Lamb of Georgia; four grandchildren, Timothy Marshall, Cecil Metcalf, Gregory Metcalf and Jennievee Smith; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Swinford officiating. Interment was in the Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 1st Ave. N.W., Winchester, TN 37398, in charge of arrangements, 967-2222.
