Amanda Alvey, daughter of James and Lucy Brown was born Feb. 24, 1895 at Beulah, Mo. She passed away June 27, 1928 at the age of 33 years 4 months and 3 days.
She was married to Charles Alvey April 6, 1913 and to this union seven children were born—Mayme, Lyda, Viola, Bernie, James and George who are living and Leona who passed away four years ago.
She leaves to mourn, besides her husband and children a father and mother and one sister, Martha, all of Beulah. She was the granddaughter of Lindsay L. and Amanda Coppage, one of the oldest families in that section. She was a kind neighbor and friend to all who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted for her Thursday afternoon by Rev. S. C. Thompson at the Beulah Church. Interment was had in the Beulah Cemetery.
