Vic was the 3rd child of Fred and Mary Gross. His siblings were De Watkins, Frank, Johanna French, Freda Ward, Reno, Clare, and Harold. Vic moved with this family from Earling, IA to a farm near Comstock, WI in 1919. Vic married Dorothy Tyvoll in 1937 and moved that same year to Luck, WI to work at the Land O' Lakes Dry Milk Plant. He bcame the plant manager in 1942 and spent the rest of his career with LOL until he retired in 1974. Vic & Dot had 5 children, Gene, Richard, Karen Martin, Loren(Buzz) and Norma Lien.
