BRUCE - Inez Murphree Martin, 77, homemaker, died Tuesday of heart failure at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Parker Memorial Funeral Home here with burial in Bruce Cemetery. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin, the widow of Jimmy Edmond Martin. leaves two daughters, Edgel and Dorothy , both of Hernando; a son, Terry of Bruce; two sisters, Winona of Perkins, Okla., and Bobbie of Houlka; three brothers, Thomas Earl of Pittsboro, James Edward of Alabama and John Whitt of Columbus, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

and Stepdaughter of Vangie "Mammy" Shields Murphree.
