Mrs. Mayme (Wyant) Meredith, wife of Owen T. Meredith, died on Thursday, November 9, 1950, in Los Angeles, Calif. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Roy, in California; a daughter, LeAnna, of Ogden, Utah, Her mother, Mrs. J. H. Wyant of Kittanning; and two sisters, Mrs. W.A. Schreckengost of Kittanning Highlands and Mrs. L.J. Claypoole of Dayton. Funeral services will be held Monday, followed by burial in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles.

Former Resident Of City Succumbs

Friends here have received word of the death in Los Angeles, Cal., of Mrs. Owen Meredith, former well-known businesswoman of Painesville. Mrs. Meredith and her husband at one time owned and operated the old M&M store in this city. The family had resided in California for about 15 years. Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ross Gleason of Ogden, Utah; a son, Roy, of San Gabriel, Cal., and five grandchildren. Funeral services are to be held Monday, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles.
