William F Adams, 72, Brewster, died Saturday, October 24 in the Brewster Hospital.
He was born in Texas on Oct.2, 1909, and married Mary Pelli in Reno, Nev., May 5, 1972.
Mr. Adams was a pipefitter for the US government at Mare Island, Calif. He came to Brewster in 1977 from Texas.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Brewster, Benicia Lodge No 5, F&AM, in Benicia, Calif., Spring Chapter No. 1105 of the Order of Eastern Star in Spring, Texas, and the Brewster Grange.
Survivors include his wife, Mary at home; one son, Bill Adams,Tomball, Texas; three brothers, Lewis, Blackie and Dale Adams, all of Brewster, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funereal services were held Tues., Oct. 27 at 11:00 am from the Calvary Baptist Church, Brewster, with Rev. Luther Allen officiating. Burial in the Bridgeport Cemetery. Columbia Lodge #193 F&AM participated at the grave. Arrangements by Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
