Mrs Georgia Atkins (nee Burton) was born October16, 1859, and was united in marriage to Joshua Atkins June 13, 1881. There were born unto Brother and Sister Atkins five sons – Herbert, Henry, Charles, Albert, and Parker. Little Herbert died at the tender age of one year and six days. The husband and father died on February 5, 1897, and the widowed departed this life June 1, 1911, being 51 years and 15 days old. She is survived by four sons, Henry, Charles, Albert, and Parker. Sister Atkins was converted and baptized into the fellowship of the Baptist Church August 3, 1899, and lived as a consistent member until the day of her death. Mountain Eagle -- June 14, 1911.
