Eula was born July 15, 1917 in Tallula, the daughter of the late Walter and Hilen Woodrum. Eula married Jake Brown on Feb. 20, 1937. They celebrated 65 years of marriage until he preceded her in death in 2002.
Surviving are her children, Jim Brown, Don (Cathy) Brown, Sue Ann (Don) Britton and Greg (Pam) Brown; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lois Boock and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eula was also preceded in death by one sister, two brothers, two great-grandsons and beloved daughter-in-law, Bernice.
Eula was retired from Memorial Medical Center. She was a member of Tallula Christian Church and Tallula Women's Auxillary, was an avid Cubs fan, but mostly enjoyed caring for and spending time with her beloved family. Eula was especially proud to be the matriarch of five generations for her family.
