Suggested edit: DOROTHY 'CHARLENE' YOUNGBLOOD (1925-2018) On October 14, 2018 the Lord looked down and saw the pain of one of his children. He reached down and pulled Charlene into his bosom and her new home in the heavens above. Charlene was born on January 1, 1925 in Mill Creek, OK where she was raised. During WW II she met the love of her life, her husband, RL Youngblood. They moved to Oroville in 1952 where they bought the Better Deal Exchange on Mitchell Street. Charlene retired from Dahlmeier Bros Insurance after 30 years as a bookkeeper. In their retirement, Charlene and RL devoted their lives to family and church. They made many trips overseas as working witness missionaries to build churches and teach the word of God in the Philippines, Panama, Africa, Portugal, Ecuador and Costa Rica. Charlene is survived by her children Alan (Penn Valley, CA), Janice Michl Sylva (Oroville, CA) Erle & Kasey (Redding, CA); grandchildren, Gina House (Oroville, CA) Stacy Youngblood (San Francisco, CA) and Lindy Saunders ( Boise, ID) and four great-grandchildren. Charlene was pre-deceased by her husband, mother, father and two brothers. At Charlene's request, no services will be held. The inurnment of Charlene and RL's cremains will be in Mill Creek, OK. It breaks our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
