Mrs. Hunt was born March 22, 1908, at Portland to Peter E. and Mary (McCanne) Hall. She moved with her family to Hermiston where she attended Columbia Grade School and Hermiston High School.
On Sept. 7,1927, she married Chester Hunt at her family's home near Hermiston. They lived at Hermiston until 1945 when they moved to Sanders, Idaho, where Mr. Hunt farmed and logged. They moved to Tekoa, Wash., in 1952. She moved to Spokane in 1990.
Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Church of Christ in Spokane and a member of Lincoln Height Gardens Bible Study.
Her hobbies included gardening, needlework and crocheting. She enjoyed singing and playing the mandolin.
Survivors in include sons, Cecil of Topeka, Kan., and Dennis of Deer Park, Wash.; daughters, Verda Wright and Eileen Epler, both of Spokane, Lee Foulk of Sacramento, Calif., Sharon Lyden of Puyallup, Wash., and Connie Perkey of Monroe, Wash.; a brother, James Hall in Oregon; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and her former husband, Chester Hunt of Dayton. One granddaughter died earlier.
