Obituary from the Eagle-Bulletin, Sept. 3, 1948:
CAZENOVIA – Funeral services were held Wednesday Morning, Aug. 25th, for Arthur J. Beuchat, 85, at the home of his son John F. Beuchat at 9 o'clock and a half hour later at St. James Church, with interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Fayetteville.

Mr. Beuchat died suddenly last Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Adelaide Busch, in New Canaan, Conn.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edward LaFreniere and Mrs. Aline Bell of Syracuse; four sons, A. Justin of Bridgeport, N.Y., Edward V. of California, Augustus J. and John F. of Cazenovia; four daughters, Mrs. James Russo of Corpus Christi, Tex., Mrs. J. Donald Matson of Fishkill, N.Y., Mrs. Katherine Pangborn of Cazenovia and Mrs. Busch; also 27 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
