In the 1850 census the census taker incorrectly notes, Lewis,b. 1831, Elizabeth,b. 1833, James,b. 1836 and Minerva,b. 1839., as all being born in Iowa. All the older children were born in Virginia.In later census records they correctly state they were born in Indiana.
