Funeral for Odie Paul Hargrove, 82, Athens, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fairview Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Inman presiding. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Hargrove died Thursday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born August 15, 1916, in Limestone County. He was a member and deacon at Fairview Baptist Church and was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Amogene Wales Hargrove; two daughters, Betty Vaughn and Nell Kilpatrick; one son, Randall Mark Hargrove; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
