Rites Held for Eldora Man
Eldora--Services for John Kuyrkendall, 89, of Eldora, were held Monday from the Andrie-Creps Funeral Home. The Rev. Dewey Lamprecht officiated. Burial was in the Union Cemetary.
He was born Dec. 3, 1871, in Hardin County, West Va,, the son of Harim and Mary Tratt Kuyrkendall. He came to Iowa in 1899 and on August. 9, 1903 he married Margaret Matilda Mathews.
He farmed until retiring and moving to Eldora 40 years ago.
SURVIVORS include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. W.E. (Hazel) Huber, Marshalltown, Mrs. Elmer (Edith) Langhoff, Sarasota, Fla., and
Mrs. Ray (Wanda) Banks, Kansas City, Kan.; three sons, Eston, Raymond; Edgar, Colo; John, Toledo; 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren..
