Matt Osojnicki, 86, of East Chicago, passed away Friday December 31 1999 at St Catherines Hospital. Survived by wife of 62 years Louise (nee Lokanc) two children Matt (Sue) Osojnicki of Hammond and Louise (Peter) Hiniker of St Paul MN: two grandchildren; Matt Michael (Lisa) Osojnicki of Crown Pointe and Debi (George) Larmon of Augusta GA; four great grandchildren Matt Richard Danny and Tommy Osojnicki and Suzi Larmon, one brother Tom (Helen) Osojnicki of Highland; brother in law Joe Lakanc of Chicago, Al (Gerry) Lokanc of Highland Park IL, John Lokanc of Dectur MI and Stan (Dorothy) Lokanc of Largo, FL; five neices, nine nephews, nine great nieces and 10 great nephews.
Funeral services Wednesday, January 5 2000 at 9:30 am from the Fife Funeral Home, 4201 Indianapolis Blvd East Chicago and 10 am at Holy Trinity Croation Church, East Chicago with Msgr Paul Bogovich and Msgr Joseph Semancik, Con-celebrating. Burial at St John cemetery, Hammond IN. Visitation st the Fife Funeral Home 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday. Paryer service 7:30 pm Tuesday
Matt retired from EI Dupont in 1969 after 40 yeras of Service. Member of Holy Trinity Croation Church, Craotion Fraternal Union Lodge #154, East Chicago, the Goodfellows Club and the Senior Citizens Club of East Chicago. He was an avid fisherman and lifelong resident of East Chicago.
