Thomas was a retired carpenter from Local 1005 of Hobart; member of the Holy Trinity Croation Church in East Chicago; Croation Fraternal Union 170; Fish and Wild Life Association; Fraternal Order Police Association; American Legion Post 369 and others; Elks Lodge and was an Army Veteran of WWII. He golfed with the Elks Lodge and enjoyed playing acrds at Wicker Park. Solan Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
