Mrs. Vann Horn, living in the Avoca neighborhood in the west part of the county was found nearly dead in her bed last Thursday day morning. She expired soon after her family found her. Heart trouble was the cause. She was about 60 years of age.

Ella Almira Jane Waddell was born April 11, 1852, near Bethesda, Belmont Co., Ohio. She departed this life Feb. 3, 1910, aged 57 years, 10 months and 22 days .... She was united in marriage to Wm. T. Van Horn Jan. 41, 1874. To this union were born seven children, six of whom, with their father, survive to mourn her departure. She also leaves an aged father ... she was a member of the M. E. church at Avoca .... Her pastor Rev. Clark, was called from St. Mary's to conduct the funeral, but he received a message after coming to the house that his sister had died, so the writer conducted the funeral .... services were held in the Mount Olive church.
