Trinidad F. Nolan, 95, of Raton, passed away Friday, July 18, 2008, in Raton. He was born Sept. 3, 1912, in Mora, the son of Philadelphio and Emilie Cruz Nolan. He was a member of the St. Patrick's-St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a retired custodian with the Raton Public School system.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen Nolan, parents, one daughter, Dorothy Trujillo, two infant sons, two brothers, Benjamin and William, and one sister, Maxine.

He is survived by his wife Mable of the home; one son,?David Nolan of Raton; four sisters, Julia Sanches and husband Lorenzo of Cimarron, Elvira Montoya of Springer, Helen Garritson of Springer and Rafalita Lopez of Española; four brothers, Margareto Nolan and wife Eva of Kansas City, Kan., Alfonso Nolan of Miami, N.M., George Nolan of Ontario, Calif., and Philadelphio Nolan of Bell Flower, Calif.; three grandchildren, Evelyn Cabral of Turlock, Calif., Vivian Snyder and husband Howard of Sacramento, Calif., and Lillia Trujillo of Sacramento; three great grandchildren, Mason Cabral, Connor Cabral and William Snyder; seven stepsons and numerous step grandchildren.

Visitation was July 21 at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary was July 21 at the St. Patrick's-St. Joseph's Catholic Church recited by Clara Ortega. Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at the St. Patrick's-St. Joseph's Catholic Church Parish Hall with Father Daniel Balizan as the celebrant. Rite of committal will follow at the Fairmont Cemetery.
