She was the daughter of Pretlo Butler and Susan Andrews Butler, and was born in the Westlake Community near Greenfield Ind. Nov. 6 1848. She grew to womanhood and was married Samuel C Moore Feb. 1874. Then came immediately to Kansas and settled on a farm five miles west of Americus. This was their home until advancing years made it necessary
for them to leave the farm and they moved to Americus Mr Moore died May 5 1930.
Mrs Moore is survived by six children, Mrs T J. Ludekke of Irving, ill, Mrs Floyd Hagins, Mrs Roy Gray, and Mrs Harry A Wayman, Emporia; Mr B.O.Moore and J.B.Moore of Americus; two brothers, J.O.Butler, Greenfield; and B.D.Butler Manhattan, and 20 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in the United Presbyterian Church in Americus Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 O'clock. Internment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
