William Walter Denby was the son of Richard and Charlott Emily (Heasman) Denby-Lord. Willliam "Bill" Denby married Bridget "Betty" Brennan in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada on September 11, 1911. Approximately a year after their married they emigrated from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada into Port Huron, MI on August 27, 1912. He was naturalized on September 27, 1923 in Lansing, Ingham Co., MI. Five children were born to them after residing in Lansing, Michigan at 1117 lathrop St. Martin Richard, Francis Brennan, Ernest, Baby Denby, and Clarence William. His occupation in February 1919 was listed as a machinist. He worked for Trantor Manufacturing Company. William had been a Lansing resident for 49 years and died at his residence, 2327 S. Pennsylvania at the age of 71
