She was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Eugene Denby, age 4, who passed away on January 11, 1947 due to carbon monoxide poisoning on a trip to Lansing, Michigan to visit John and Hazel Denby. She was also preceded in death by her father, Donald, on April 6, 1954 in Chicago, Cook Co., IL. Betty Jean was a high school student, age 16 and resided at 637 11th St., Roseland, Cook Co., IL. Betty Louise Denby's cause of death was accidental drowning at Starved Rock State Park, Utica Township, La Salle County, Illinois.
