He married Willie Ernestine 'Bill' Chenowith George on Dec. 1, 1936 in Fairland.
Everett and Bill had four children: three daughters, Carol, Shirley, Marilyn and a son, Burl.
He was a lifelong Delaware County resident. He was employed by Sanco Lumber in Miami for a number of years. Everett was a self employed carpenter and a farmer.
Everett was raised in a musical family. He played the guitar and fiddle. He enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music.
