Mr. Brown, a retired manufacturer with Ware's Aluminum Windows in Florida, was born in Gaston County, son of the late Thomas and Mary Ballew Brown. He was a member of Capps Memorial Missionary Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Sarah Brackett Brown; sons, Sherman Brown, James Brown; daughters, Mrs. Doris Kruk of Pembroke Pines, Fla., Mrs. Libby Arrowood of Ellenboro, Mrs. Judy Anthony, Mrs. Louise Eaker; sisters,
Mrs. Hester Heavner, Mrs. WillowHeavner; 11 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren.
