Mrs. William Kepner Died At Neighbor's Home
Pembroke, Aug 2.--Mrs. Adeline Kepner, wife of William Kepner, died suddenly on Sunday evening. She was calling on Mrs. James Gabbey, a neighbor, and was just preparing to go home, when she fell lifeless. Dr. Mott of Akron, who was hastily summoned, pronounced heart disease as the cause of death.
Mrs. Kepner was born at North Pembroke on October 23, 1864. She was the mother of 13 children, eight of whom, with her husband, survive her. They are Mrs. Harry Taylor of Akron and Mrs B Dunn, Misses Etta, Mary and Helen Kepner, William Kepner, Jr. and Edward and Homer Kepner, all of Pembroke. She also leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs Barnes of Sweden Valley; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Rudd of Elmira, Mrs. William Wilbur and Mrs. Burt Wilbur of Little Valley, and Miss Frances Barnes of Indian Falls, and four brothers, Frank Barnes of Akron and Aaron Barnes of Canaan.
