Maggie Turner, 86, of McGregor died Sept. 28 in Westview Manor Nursing Home in McGregor. Services were held Sept. 29 at Scott's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Boling officiating. Burial was in the Flint Creek Cemetery. Born Nov. 16, in The Grove, she was the daughter of the late C.W. and Alice Brazzil. She married George Turner, Jr. Dec. 27, 1937. He preceded her in death Jan . 6, 1982. She lived in the Gatesville-McGregor area over the past 12 years. She was a member of the Assembly o God Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Henry (Ora Alice) Glass of McGregor; sister, Mrs. Charlie Kennedy of McGregor; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers at the funeral were her grandsons and great grandsons.
