Thomas Scott Rawson. Thomas Scott Rawson, 63, of 426 Forty-fourth St., died Sunday of a heart ailment oat Iowa Methodist Hospital.
Mr. Rawson was president and owner of the former Iowa Pipe and Tile Co., of Des Moines, now a division of Can-Tex Industries here. Until January, 1971, he was sales co-ordinator for the Can-Tex firm.
A University of Wisconsin graduate, he was a member of the Midwest Regional National Clay Pipe Institute, the Pioneer Club, the Des Moines Club, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s, with burial in Woodland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; a daughter, Mrs. John Goedhart of Glendora, Calif.; a son, Thomas M. Of Des Moines; and two granddaughters.
The body is at Dunn’s Funeral Home on Grand Avenue. The family suggests memorials to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
