She was united in marriage to Stephen Perry Ridlen on August 13, 1863, Shelby County, Indiana. To this union, six known children were born: Perry V Ridlen, Ida May Ridlen, Rhoda Alice Ridlen, Jemima Laura Ridlen, Ephraim Pryer Ridlen and Charles Edgar Ridlen

Died, June 15, at her home in Fountaintown, of consumption, Mrs. Amanda Ridlin, wife of Stephen Ridlin, in the 47th year of her age. The services took place at the house yesterday at 3 o'clock p.m. the Rev. G.W. Smith of the M. P. church officiating. Burial at the Concord cemetery by C. W. Morrison, funeral director.
