WILSON -- Services for Lois E. Kincheloe Alexander, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the River of Life Church with Brother Jimmy Duck and Brother Dewayne Duck officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson.
A native and life-long resident of Wilson, Mrs. Kincheloe was born on Feb. 26, 1921, to John Wesley and Emma Virginia Hefner Kincheloe. She died on Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, in Ardmore.

She and Lee Clinton "Clint" Alexander were married on July 3, 1939, in Ardmore. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1991. Two sisters, Mildred Sissney and Louise Acres, and her parents also preceded her in death. Growing up in the Rexroat area, Lois attended school in Rexroat and Wilson. She graduated from the Valley View Hospital School of Nursing in Ada in 1962. She and her family owned and operated Alexander Nursing Home until 1964. She later worked at the Ardmore Osteopathic Hospital and completed her career at the Healdton hospital.

Survivors include daughters, Pat Brawley and husband, Ray, and, Linda Gail Hunt and her husband, Marshall, of Lone Grove, Shirley Coble and husband, David, of Greensboro, S.C., and Virginia Southerland of Wilson; three sons, A.L. Alexander and wife, Pam, of Bacliff, Texas, Armond Alexander of Wilson and Wesley Alexander of Bacliff; two sisters, Pearl Dowdy and Betty Manley, both of Wilson; and a brother-in-law Melton Sissney and wife, Kathryn, of Waukomis.

Lois was Mamaw to grandchildren Gary and Eric Alexander of Bacliff, Margie Morgan of La Marque, Texas, Clint, Tommy and Jason Alexander of Oklahoma City, Mike and Raymond Brawley, Cheryl Van Auker, Jeff Hunt and Amy Porter, all of Lone Grove, Andy Jones of Healdton, Amanda Jones of Chicago, Maggie Southerland of Wilson and Julie Josey of Bakersfield, Calif. She was also Mamaw to 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family members will serve as bearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 tonight at Alexander Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to a favorite children's charity.

Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
