Daughter of William McGlothen and Josephine Walters. Sister to Helen. Irene was his second wife, she married Melvin Leroy Dakin on February 04, 1963 in New Richmond, Clermont County, Ohio. Together they had five children: Billie Jo, Kellita Jo "Kelly", Lisa Louise, Helen Cary and Melvin Scott (preceded them in death). They resided in Williamsburg, Clermont County, Ohio. Sadly Irene suffered from an Annuerism in her later years which left her wheel chair bound.
